Open Class
And finally, the open class, familiar names appear in the rankings. Frank Rodricks, on The Frankenboat Flippin’ Fearless, ranked 1st because of a predominance of 1st place finishes in the individual races. This was a good year for Frank, who had 12 points in the final tally. Not only did he often finish first after Portsmouth rating correction, he was first across the line for his class. Second place was a tie between John Kuna & Cathy Wilson and Rick Uschold & Randy Burman. Both teams scored 18 points, but a tie breaking formula gave 2nd place to John and Cathy.
