For many, Hagar's Run is just a prelude, either a warm up or a cool down (particularly for those on the water) for the 'trophy party' on Saturday night after the race.  The purpose of the trophy party is to make Hagar's trophies.  That's the official story and those people stick to it.  It's also a time to see who's butt it was sticking out of the Goodwill Box in front of Walmart that weekend in July when nearly everyone else was gone on vacation.  Fashion tells the whole truth!  Anyway, it's not important how much you paid for the clothes you wear to the Hagar Trophy Party.  That you have them and wear them:  That's what's important.
