In 2007, one team dominated the regatta: John Casey and John Williams. They had a string of 1st place finishes, broken only by a single 4rd place finish that was thrown out. The second place was pretty much sewn up by John & Kathy Lovell. They had an unbroken strong of 2nd place finishes. Third place was hotly contested by two teams: John & Tiffany Tomko from Texas and Ken Pierce & Leandro Spina. The two teams had moments of glory with 1st place finishes in their classes, and some bad races as well. Pierce & Spina, for example, snagged the line on the A mark when 25 kn winds blew the mark with such force it lifted the line close to the surface.
